September 11th Remembrance Ceremony

The Culver City Police and Fire Departments will hold a remembrance ceremony at Culver City Fire Station 1 to honor the men, women, children, and first responders who lost their lives in the September 11, 2001, attacks.

A quarter century after the September 11, 2001, attacks, 100 million Americans are too young to remember the day that changed our nation forever. As we commemorate this anniversary, a new generation will learn about the unimaginable loss we experienced and the inspiring stories of bravery, compassion, unity, and service that we witnessed, and have rippled through the decades.

Twenty-five years later, we invite you to join us as we honor the lives lost that day.

6:55 AM Crews assemble in front of the flag

6:59 AM Time of the South Tower collapse

7:00 AM One minute of complete silence

7:01 AM Flag lowered to half-staff. Bugle plays.

7:03 AM Ceremony concludes.
