This service is provided on an as-available basis. It is not intended for vacant homes, residences for sale, or long-term absences.
Requests should be made at least two weeks before your scheduled vacation.

As resources permit, Officers from the Culver City Police Department will check the security of your home.
Vacation Checks are periodic security checks conducted while you are away.
The check will include a patrol visit of the location's exterior to check for:
If any issues are found, the owner and/or emergency contact will be notified, and an appropriate response will be determined.
You can apply online to request a security check on your home or business while on vacation. Requests should be made at least two weeks before your scheduled vacation.
Take these recommended actions before your trip:
Vacation Check Forms should be submitted at least two weeks prior to your departure date. The Vacation Check request is only valid for the dates you submit. You must submit a separate request for each planned departure.
IMPORTANT: Contact the Culver City Police Department if your departure or return dates change.
