The Culver City Police Department’s Strategic Plan is the result of more than a year of collaboration with Council Members, community, staff, and partners. The planning process began in 2024 and included workshops, advisory panels, community meetings, and a full review of prior plans, audits, and data.

Guided by goals of enhancing transparency, accountability, equity, efficiencies, and engagement, the plan sets the direction for the Department over the next three years.

Key Goals:

  1. Enhancing Our Community Alliances – increasing trust, transparency, and accountability.
  2. Advancing Our CCPD Team – succession planning, professional development, and workforce diversity.
  3. Optimizing Our Resources – leveraging technology and efficient asset management.
  4. Reducing Crime Through Collaborative Policing– innovative strategies and community partnerships.

Each goal includes measurable objectives, assigned responsibilities, and progress tracking.

We are proud of the collaborative work that has gone into this effort and grateful for the input of our community and city partners. The Culver City Police Department looks forward to working closely with the community and city leadership to carry out this plan and to strengthen public safety, trust, and service in our city.
